"Very convenient location close to public transportation (busline one block away), yet the inside of the building is quiet, especially the guest rooms."

“Returning here feels right because it's nestled in a real neighborhood, quite near a major temple and some quieter, more intimate ones; also, it is very close to The Philosopher's Walk. With only four rooms, it's a classic lodging house where you share the bath and kitchen, but I found the owner particularly helpful. A genuine place to experience Kyoto.”
